Elizabeth I (Queen Mary's half-sister) then had Queen Mary publicly beheaded making a bloody political statement to anyone that would oppose her. By that, she unlawfully deposed Queen Mary and usurped the throne. To this day the so-called 'British Throne' is a monstrous fraud dating back to Mary Queen of Scots' unlawful and brutal political execution.         Later, the Royal Stewarts were instrumental in providing safe refuge in Scotland to the Knights Templar after France and England under the Catholic Church betrayed them in history's most brutal, systematic mass tortures and blood-bath slaughters of Christian patriots ever recorded. Portugal played a key role in providing safe refuge as well. The 'Skull & Bones' is a Knights Templar symbol to this day. Their 'Splayed Cross' was displayed prominently on the sails of Christian sailing ship, including Christopher Columbus and Vasco da Gama. The Skull & Bones was later called the 'Jolly Roger' pirate flag. It was actually the Knights Templar 'Battle Flag' that they suddenly hoisted when approaching an enemy ship. In addition, it was a secret sign on the 'High Seas' to those that knew they were Knights Templar at war with their enemies. If they were not an enemy, they had nothing to fear. Rogue pirates also adopted the flag because the simple act of hoisting that flag would typically strike such fear into the other ship that it would surrender. To this day, you will see the Christian Knights Templar "Skull & Bones" (not crossed swords) painted on American military aircraft, warships, and often flown as a flag on American military vehicles. Yet few people know what it truly means. One reason for its use is that the American Military fight the enemies of Christianity, and especially Muslims as during the Christian Crusades. Little known, the entire Knights Templar sailing fleet disappeared (put to sea by escaping Templars), who sailed through the Pillars of Hercules and northward to Portugal and Scotland.         The Royal Stewarts were instrumental in providing the Knights Templar safe refuge in Scotland. The great seafaring nation of Portugal played a key role in providing safe refuge as well. Many others escaped over the Alps into Switzerland where to this day every household is armed to the teeth as mandated by law, by the Swiss government. The Templars are said to have started the Swiss 'secret account' banking system during that time of which continues to this day. The Knights Templar 'Jolly Roger' remains The Archetype Symbol of pirates, although the Templars are NOT to be confused with Today's Sensationalist TV portrayals of pirate. The reason is that the Knights Templar were perhaps the most notorious, if not the most secretive and misunderstood 'pirates' in history with few ever knowing that they were Knights Templar. It is important to know that they were actually at war (not pirating) against a vicious and unscrupulous Catholic Church, French and English enemies. Of course, history written by greedy victors seldom portrays fact...   Few know this, but it was Knights Templar that rushed from a treed hillside, flanked the English, and helped to roundly defeat the English in the famous Battle of Bannockburn, Scotland (1314). Later, because of the horrendous bloodbath Catholic betrayal, many remnant Templars helped establish the Protest-ant Church. There is traditional Scottish 'Freemasonry' and Templar influence in our family heritage. Which is not to be confused with some of today's factionalized and corrupt 'Masonry'.        We are not active Masons, but are reared strongly in its influence. So much so that my Grandfather was named Hiram, and so was my uncle. Grandfather Hiram, married Martha Geddes Stewart of the Scottish Royal Stewarts. Hence our direct family heritage to the Royal Stewarts and Knights Templars.
